Hindi OTT releases this week bring a family reunion, a gangster comedy and two very different horror stories to the watchlist for 26 October–1 November 2026. Friday, 30 October, is the main release day, while Vijay Sethupathi’s Baththa is scheduled a day earlier.
This page brings together the four films we could verify for that window with Hindi viewing options: Meethe Mein Kya Hai, Baththa, Immortal and Obsession. It also includes Akka in a separate series section. Hindi originals and Hindi-dubbed films are clearly labelled so you can choose what suits you.
Schedule checked: 25 October 2026. These are upcoming releases, not a list of films already streaming. Further announcements or schedule changes may follow before Friday.

The dates refer to the streaming releases covered here. A film may have played in cinemas earlier. For an audio track, the important distinction is Hindi dubbing versus Hindi subtitles; they are not interchangeable.
1. Meethe Mein Kya Hai — Netflix, 30 October

Language: Hindi original. Cast: Ritwik Bhowmik, Rohini Hattangadi and Ayesha Raza. Director: Radhika Bansal.
A Diwali reunion gives a young widower a chance to reconnect with family. Then his sister’s unexpected marriage announcement disrupts the gathering. The premise puts grief, affection and family secrets inside the same festive household, with humour alongside the emotional complications.
This is the Hindi-original film to note if you prefer relationships and conversation to crime investigations. The trailer’s family setting makes it a different proposition from the horror releases below. However, check the platform’s age classification rather than treating the words “family drama” as an automatic all-ages recommendation.
Watchlist fit: a character-led, festive story. The 30 October date is supported by Netflix’s trailer announcement as reported in current release coverage.
2. Baththa — Netflix, 29 October, with Hindi dubbing

Original language: Tamil. Cast: Vijay Sethupathi, Sai Prithviraj and Lijomol Jose. Director: Balaji Tharaneetharan.
Set in 1986 Madras, the film places a feared gangster in an unexpectedly powerless situation: he becomes trapped inside a school toilet. A young boy’s involvement turns that predicament into the starting point for an unusual encounter. The contrast between the gangster’s reputation and his immediate helplessness provides the comic hook.
Netflix’s release announcement places Baththa on 29 October with Tamil, Hindi, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam versions. Therefore, Hindi viewers do not need to treat it as a subtitle-only option. Check the Hindi track in the player when it arrives.
Watchlist fit: viewers looking for a gangster story with an offbeat setup. It is the Thursday arrival in this roundup, so you can plan it before the Friday batch.
3. Immortal — SonyLIV, 30 October

Original language: Tamil; Hindi is part of the announced multilingual release. Leads: G. V. Prakash Kumar and Kayadu Lohar. Director: Mariyappan Chinna.
Magi, a printing-press worker looking for somewhere affordable to live, receives an attractive offer from a mysterious woman named Sindhu. The accommodation seems unusually generous. As strange events unfold, what looked like good fortune becomes a doorway into a more disturbing mystery.
The release announcement describes a combination of romance, mystery and supernatural horror. That gives it a different entry point from a straightforward haunted-house story: the relationship and the bargain surrounding the room are central to the premise.
Watchlist fit: viewers who enjoy a romance turning unsettling. The announced 30 October SonyLIV release includes Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada and Hindi.
4. Obsession: The Original Uncut Version — JioHotstar, 30 October

Hindi option: Hindi dub alongside English. Announced time: 7 PM IST. Director: Curry Barker. Leads: Michael Johnston and Inde Navarrette.
Bear obtains a supernatural object that appears to offer a solution to his unreturned romantic feelings. He wishes for his friend Nikki to love him. The wish takes the story into darker territory, making the consequences of desire the film’s central horror idea.
The 30 October release is specifically promoted as The Original Uncut Version on The Peacock Hub within JioHotstar. Keep that edition name in mind when searching: it distinguishes this digital release from the earlier theatrical presentation.
Watchlist fit: horror viewers seeking a Halloween-weekend option. Check the age rating and content information before viewing; this is not grouped with the family-drama pick simply because both arrive on Friday.
Also arriving: Akka is a series, not a movie

Release: 30 October on Netflix. Keerthy Suresh and Radhika Apte lead the cast, joined by Tanvi Azmi. Dharmaraj Shetty writes and directs the YRF Entertainment production.
Netflix’s trailer announcement introduces Pernuru, a fictional world where women hold power. Bhavani and Rudra stand at the centre of a rivalry involving authority, loyalty, family and revenge. It is a gangster saga, but its series format means it belongs in a different viewing plan from a single-film evening.
Netflix officially confirms the 30 October premiere. We have not established a complete episode count or a full-season runtime for this guide, so those details are not guessed.
Which release should you choose?
- For a Hindi-original family story: start by checking Meethe Mein Kya Hai.
- For an unconventional gangster setup: consider the Hindi version of Baththa.
- For romance mixed with supernatural mystery: look at Immortal.
- For a darker Halloween film: check Obsession and its content classification.
- For an ongoing gangster narrative: add the series Akka separately.
These suggestions compare the announced premises; they are not reviews based on watching the unreleased titles. Avoid using unverified ratings or social-media reactions as a substitute for the plot, language and content information that matters to your viewing choice.
What about other platforms and Telugu-only releases?
This guide does not add a movie to Prime Video or ZEE5 just to fill every platform column. We have not verified another Hindi-audio film premiere for this window on those services. Likewise, a Telugu release is not automatically a Hindi-dubbed release.
For example, our Rudravanam PS release guide covers another 30 October arrival, but its checked listing identifies Telugu audio. It is therefore outside the Hindi movie table.
For earlier viewing options, browse the 5–11 October Hindi and Telugu watchlist. Its dates belong to that earlier edition. You can also explore our Entertainment coverage and What’s Hot section for more updates.
